Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data we collect when you book a lesson, who processes it on our behalf, and how to exercise your rights under the Swiss nFADP and the EU GDPR.
Data controller
Gonzalez Fernandez Snowball Effect (Einzelfirma), proprietor Francisco Javier González Fernández, Josefstrasse 4, 8610 Uster, Switzerland — trading as Ride Flumserberg. Contact: franciscojgonzalezfernandez@gmail.com. Lessons are provided in Flumserberg, canton of St. Gallen.
Data we collect
Name, email address, phone number and the data required to complete payment. Card details are handled directly by Stripe and never reach our servers. We also store a session cookie issued by our authentication library; it is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and contains no tracking information.
Service providers
Stripe (payments, in Ireland and the United States), Resend (transactional email, in the United States and the European Union), Sentry (error monitoring, in the European Union), Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics, primarily in the European Union), Neon (Postgres database, in the European Union) and Google (calendar synchronisation for instructors who opt in). Each provider acts as a processor bound by a data-processing agreement.
Retention
Account and booking data are retained while your account is active. Payment and invoicing metadata are retained for ten years to satisfy Swiss accounting law (Code of Obligations, Art. 957a). On account deletion we erase personal identifiers from booking history but keep the anonymised accounting record.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Under the Swiss nFADP and the EU GDPR you also have the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. We will respond within 30 days.
Contact
To exercise these rights or to raise any privacy-related question, write to franciscojgonzalezfernandez@gmail.com. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
