How are snowboard lessons for adults with different experience levels organised?
By level and goal, not by age: at the start I watch how you ride, see where you are, and build the lesson from there — beginner, intermediate or advanced. In a group with mixed levels I focus on each of you and improve everyone's points: when one correction helps everyone I bring you together, when it doesn't each person works in parallel, and when you're at the same level we work together for longer.

Who will be teaching me to snowboard in Flumserberg?
A certified coach who reads how you ride and fixes the one thing holding you back — teaching in English, German or Spanish, in groups of one to four. Rather than post testimonials we can't verify, here's what you can actually check before you book: certification, languages, how I coach, and the video you take home.

Do you teach snowboarding in small groups, and how small are they?
Yes — every lesson is 1 to 4 riders at one flat price, grouped by level so the class shares more. I can teach mixed levels too; it's just a bit more juggling. Four is the hard ceiling, never a class of ten, so nobody waits their turn and the lesson keeps moving.

Are private snowboard lessons for kids worth it in Flumserberg?
For most children, yes — one coach watching only your child means faster progress and far fewer tears than a big class where they wait in line. Kids start from age 8, ride in groups of 1 to 4, and I pace the whole lesson around your child, with warm breaks built in.

Private snowboard instructor or a big ski school — what's the difference?
A big class spreads one instructor across many riders on a fixed programme; a private lesson is one coach, one to four riders, and a session shaped entirely around you. Neither is wrong — but if you want the fastest progress and a plan that fits your goal, this is what a private instructor gives you.

How can I improve my snowboard carving technique with an instructor?
An instructor shortcuts carving by fixing the cause, not the symptom: it's almost always weight too far back and rushing the turn. We watch your turns, correct edge angle and weight distribution one thing at a time, on video, until the board draws the arc by itself. For freestyle the method is the same: one key correction per session.

How do I choose snowboard lessons in Flumserberg?
Look at six things: group size, whether they group by level, the instructor's certification and languages, what's included in the price, the meeting point, and the cancellation terms. This is a neutral checklist for judging any snowboard lesson in Flumserberg — with straight answers for how mine work.

How much is a full-day snowboard lesson in Flumserberg?
A full day is six hours on the snow for CHF 500 (Season 2026/27), one flat price for up to four riders — so a group of four pays CHF 125 each. It's the best-value hour rate I offer and the fastest way to go from first turns to riding confidently in a single day.

Can a whole family learn to snowboard together in Flumserberg?
Yes, if the family rides at a similar level — up to four of you in one lesson at a flat price, from age 8. When the levels are far apart I'll split the time so a first-timer and a confident kid both get a real session instead of one watching the other.

What are the best ways to learn snowboarding?
The fastest path with the least frustration is a lesson with a coach who watches and films you. With me that comes in two formats: private (the focus is yours, fast progress) or group (cheaper, social and dynamic). Learning from a friend or from YouTube alone is free, but it tends to bake in bad habits that are hard to undo later.
